Jesus is ... Lifted Up But Jesus replied, “Stop complaining about what I said. For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up. As it is written in the Scriptures, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me. (Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only I, who was sent from God, have seen him.) “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life." John 6:43-47 Lifted Up. Set apart. The Father orientates us toward Jesus - "Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me." Jesus saves - “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life." It is the work of Jesus that saves "As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous— not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.”” - Romans 3:10–12 "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." - Eph 2:8-9
