Jesus is ... The LORD. John 1:19-28

 • Glen Salzman • Series: Jesus is ...

John 1:19-28 - Jesus is the LORD People tend to overvalue themselves and undervalue Jesus Not John the Baptist: John answered them, “I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know, even he who comes after me, the strap of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.”  John 1:27 What does the Bible say of Jesus? In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. Revelation 1:16-17 Who does Jesus say he is? “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!” John 14:6 What is your perspective? How do you view yourself?  Do you think too highly of yourself? How do you view Jesus?  Do you think highly enough of Him?  Do you know Him?
